Lee B. Farris CPM®, CCIM®, CMCA®

Mr. Farris attended the University of Houston receiving a B.B.A. in Finance in 1974. He was awarded his CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from the Institute of Real Estate in 1979, his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2004, his CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation in 2006 and is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona (License No. BR00850900) and Texas (License No. 298702).

Mr. Farris has been involved in the leasing and property management field since 1974.  He began his career with Gerald D. Hines Interests, in Houston, Texas, where he was involved in the growth of Hines from a local Houston company to an international company.  He opened the Grubb & Ellis Property Services office in Houston, Texas, and was responsible for the implementation and development of all of the third-party property management capability in Texas.

He has served as an independent commercial real estate broker, as well as, Vice President of Leasing for a Houston developer.  He has been involved in the acquisition, and sale of office buildings, industrial properties, retail properties and land, serving as either the selling or buying broker, in numerous transactions.

He successfully formed and administered a REO division for a two billion dollar Texas saving and loan, and  he has opened and developed third-party management capabilities for other local and national firms, including Trammell Crow, Perini Investment Properties and Eagle Western Management Company.

Mr. Farris has been involved in the management of office, retail and industrial properties ranging in size from less than 25,000 to more than a 1,800,000 square feet.  In addition, Mr. Farris has overseen portfolios of apartment projects ranging in sizes up to 5,000 units, and the management of HOA developments as large as 20,000 acres.  He has managed office condominiums and property owner associations as large as 100,000 square feet and over 1,700 acres, respectively.  Mr. Farris has developed, and consulted in the development and leasing of numerous projects.

Mr. Farris, formed Farrmont Realty Group, Inc., AMO® in 1994, and has grown the company into a successful third-party full service real estate company.  The company has developed, managed and leased properties throughout Arizona.  It currently manages and leases properties in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona and continues to successfully expand its third-party property management client base each year.

In addition, Mr.  Farris has been an instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate for the past 18 years, he was the 2007 President for the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a past member of the IREM National Membership and Credentialing Committee and the IREM Industry Standards Advisory Board, and assisted in the development of IREM’s Best Practices Manual for Real Estate Management Services.  He is the past President of the Phoenix University Club and member of Valley Partnership. He is the founder and Managing Member of Commercial Builders Associates, LLC, ROC # 268993, a general contracting and tenant improvement company, and Quick Maintenance Solutions, LLC, a facilities maintenance company providing maintenance services to the real estate community.With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Commercial Builders Associates, LLC has become a trusted name in the field of construction. Our team of experts has the knowledge, skills, and expertise to handle any project, big or small. We have completed numerous projects ranging from residential homes to commercial buildings, and our clients can attest to our commitment to quality and excellence.

Chris Say

    Mr. Say started in the construction industry 20 years ago. He began his career in a millwork shop where he learned the value of craftmanship and attention to detail. His leadership skills lead to becoming the shop manager and eventually starting up and running a millwork division for a large General Contractor

    Mr. Say started in the construction industry 20 years ago. He began his career in a millwork shop where he learned the value of craftmanship and attention to detail. His leadership skills lead to becoming the shop manager and eventually starting up and running a millwork division for a large General Contractor. One of the shops he managed built and finished custom cabinets for multi-million dollar homes. He has been responsible for the execution of the interior designer's and client's vision of their custom cabinets with project ranges up to $750,000. 

    Mr. Say has been running projects with Commercial Builders Associates since 2014. During this time, he has been responsible for estimating, contracting, project management, invoicing, closeouts and cost analysis. He has successfully completed over $10 million worth of projects. His ability to handle several projects, in all different phases of construction, set him apart. He oversees the operations in the field and coordinates daily with up to  5 superintendents. His responsibility also covers staff in the office to ensure that all projects are operating smoothly. 

    Mr. Say has developed numerous lasting relationships over the years. These relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors have helped the business grow. The relationships he has established are the thing he takes the most pride in. He understands that a successful project is important but the most rewarding part of his job is when a client returns with another project. These satisfied clients have led to several referrals and more opportunities.

    Ms. Schreiner has been involved with construction accounting since 1988.  She has served as an Accounting Supervisor for many well known local property management companies and has been Vice President of Accounting for Commercial Builders from the beginning.  She has a superior knowledge of nearly every na

    Ms. Schreiner has been involved with construction accounting since 1988.  She has served as an Accounting Supervisor for many well known local property management companies and has been Vice President of Accounting for Commercial Builders from the beginning.  She has a superior knowledge of nearly every nationally known software package on the market.  She has worked with Skyline, MRI, CenterSoft, Yardi and many other software packages.  She has been responsible for all accounting functions, which includes new construction, development, tenant improvements and renovations of new and existing properties.  She has been responsible for real estate portfolios consisting of more than 150 properties.  Her experience includes office, retail, apartments, and industrial construction and development accounting.
